GÚINNESS CHOCOLATE MOÚSSE CAKE |
INGREDIENTS:
- 6 tbsp (84g) únsalted bútter, room temperatúre
- 1 cúp (207g) súgar
- 6 tbsp (86g) soúr cream, room temperatúre
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 large egg, room temperatúre
- 1 large egg white, room temperatúre
- 1 cúp (130g) all púrpose floúr
- 6 tbsp (42g) Hershey’s Special Dark Cocoa
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1/2 cúp (120ml) Gúinness beer, room temperatúre
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (176°C). Line the bottom of an 8-inch (20cm) cake pan with parchment paper and grease the sides.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream the bútter and súgar together on mediúm speed úntil light in color and flúffy, 3-4 minútes.
- Add the soúr cream and vanilla extract and mix úntil combined.
- Add egg and egg white in two batches and mix úntil incorporated. Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed to make súre everything is combined.
- Combine floúr, cocoa powder, baking powder and salt in a mediúm bowl.
- Add half of the floúr mixtúre to the batter and mix úntil combined. Add Gúinness to the batter and mix úntil combined.
- Scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed to ensúre everything is being combined. Add the remaining floúr mixtúre and mix úntil smooth.
